August 17, 2023 kicked off the inaugural three-day tournament, the Myers/Kent Quixote Ryder Cup Invitational, at the Quixote Club in Sumter. MBM Partner, Stanley Myers and attorney Shaun Kent of Manning, served as Captains of the Tournament. Each Captain selected their team of 12. The competition included various two-man team match formats such as captains choice, best ball and alternate shot,  as well as individual matches on the final day.

After coming from behind on the last day, Stanley Myers and his team, which included MBM Partner, Nick Riley, were victorious. The prizes were 12 individual swords that each member of the winning team members received. MBM looks forward to defending their title for years to come.

The Quixote Club is owned by local philanthropist, Greg Thompson. A portion of all membership dues is donated to Sumter charter school, Liberty STEAM Charter, to assist in educating impoverished children.

Soccer Superheroes

On June 23, 2023, WIS-TV did a feature story on Calahan Moore and Katy Handell's Soccer Superheroes. Calahan is the daughter of Jake and Missy Moore and the granddaughter of Jake Moore, Sr. Moore Bradley Myers serves as an organization sponsor.

Calahan Moore, a 14 year-old Girl Scout, and Katy Handell, 2023 Teacher of the Year for Lexington School District One, teamed up to create a soccer league for children with disabilities which they named Soccer Superheroes.  Calahan’s passion for service combined with Katy’s expertise as a Preschool Special Education Teacher created the perfect combination to fulfill a need in the community for our underserved children with disabilities.
